FirstBCO Kids at FBCO supports the growth of kids from age 5 through 5th grade. In each program, we use lessons, stories, activities, and games to help kids learn how to navigate the Bible and build skills. Our goal is to partner with families to foster the child’s spiritual growth developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sunday mornings:

• During Sunday School, we learn about God’s Word book by book and emphasize that the entire Bible points to Jesus as our way to salvation (using The Gospel Project).

• During church service, in Kids’ Praise, we use the Adventure Club to learn about the important life applications of our faith, such as prayer, reading the Bible, missions, and developing a relationship with God.

• On the fifth Sunday, we have Family Worship. Here the kids join everyone in “Big Church”, which includes a short children’s sermon. Sitting with family also allows for a demonstration of faith in action, and the kids are given pages to engage them in the service.

Throughout the year:
• On Wednesday night during the school year, we engage the children through Awana Clubs with games and stories to teach them about scriptures and Bible application.

•Additional events will be added quarterly, including Summer camps and Family Game Nights.
