What is Awana

AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed’ as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Each week kids from preschool through 6th grade will meet and have lessons, learn verses, and play games. The groups are broken up into Cubbies (preschool), Sparks (K-2) and Truth and Training, or T&T (3-6).

Simply put, AWANA Is a weekly program for kids to learn the Bible, where your child will grow in their faith and have a blast doing it!

What if my student is in grade 7-12?

We welcome our older students to become leaders and help in any of the areas – handbook time, game time, story time, club leader, etc. We also have weekly meeting times for our youth every Sunday from 6-7pm.

Is it hard to get home and here by 6 pm?

Don’t worry- we have you covered!

We offer a weekly meal starting at 5 pm, free of charge, for you and your kids, so you don’t have to stress over dinner on Wednesdays! Donations are accepted to help offset costs.

What else do you do at Awana?

Throughout the year, we will have lots of other fun things to do. We will have monthly theme nights and the AWANA store night twice where the kids can purchase prizes with the points they earn weekly.
